Squamish wind report for kiteboarding

Some left over alto cumulus clouds on the web cams as things clear off this morning.

Forecast is for a 8 degree gradient for Howe Sound and a high of 24 degrees for Squamish.

For the Spit expect lighter morning winds with strong afternoon winds. 15 -20 knots.

Squamish Spit kiteboarding wind report

Another awesome day for the Squamish Spit. Strong winds forecast for Howe Sound.

An 11 degree gradient with a high of 28 degrees for Squamish.

Light outflows and high valley temps will make for early and late winds.

For the spit expect 25 + knots.

Kiteboarding in Squamish wind report

Two layers of clouds for the valley this morning. Should burn off as the alto layer thins out.

Mix of sun and cloud later this morning. Satellite images show no major threats.

Forecast is for 9 degree gradient with a high of 24 degrees for Squamish.

For the Squamish Spit expect 15-20 knots with the stronger winds late in the afternoon.

Wind report for kiteboarding in Squamish

Overnight thunder showers for the Squamish Valley. Showing signs of clearing on the webcams this morning.

A strong gradient and already inflowing for Howe sound.

A high of 24 degrees with an 8 degree gradient for Howe Sound is forecast.

For the Squamish Spit expect 20 – 25 knots with shifty winds and a mix of Sun and clouds.
