Sunny skies this morning. Changing to clouds and possibly rain as a system moves into B.C. from the S.E. Moderate outflows this morning switching to strong inflows by this afternoon. For the Spit expect a gusty and strong 20-30 knots.
West winds in the Georgia Straight should pick up and produce a chance of some local kiting? Might swing to S.W.
Expect 10-20 knots.

Bluebird skies on all the web cams. Light outflows and a 5 degree gradient for Howe Sound.
Looks like a classic day for the Spit! The morning will have low tides and make it excellent for learning to kiteboard.

A mix of Sun and cloud on the Valley web cams. Forecast is for low temps
with only a 1 degree gradient between Vancouver and Lillooet. Thunder showers expected for the Valley. West winds picking up in the Georgia Straight. This will make for gusty winds at the Spit.
For the Spit expect a cold and gusty 10-20 knots.
West winds in the Georgia Straight. Forecast is for it to pick up and peak
around 12:00. Could see 10-15 knots in the Vancouver area.
Kiting is prohibited in English bay, watch out for lifeguards!

A mix of sun and clouds on the valley cams but heavy cloud on the Vancouver cams. Forecast is for low temps today and increasing temps for tomorrow and through the weekend.
Light East winds for the city today. East winds tend to be unreliable.
There will be some opportunity to kite this weekend with variable conditions. For the Spit expect a gusty, cold 10-20 knots.

Moderate SW winds in the Straight this morning. Forecast is for it to drop and turn SE. Clouds and rain on the valley cams.
If your quick this morning you could get a sesh at Crescent beach.

Strong outflows for Howe Sound and light West winds for the Georgia Straight this morning. Sun and clouds on the valley cams, with cumulus clouds building. Should see some on and off rain for Squamish. E.C. is calling for strong inflows for Howe Sound. This would be frontal wind and very gusty. Expect a cool 10-25 knots.
Afternoon Westerly forecasted for Vancouver. E.C. is calling for 15-25 but the models are showing less. I would expect a short window of wind.

Clouds and cool temps for Pemberton and Whistler. Sunny further up the valley with a forecast for strong South winds. E.C. is calling for no inflow for Howe Sound although it’s already inflowing. Satellite shows a massive Low setting up due West of Vancouver Island. This will cause very unsettled weather over the next few days. Could see inflows the same as yesterday.

Neutral temps this morning for Van,Squa,Whis,Pem and Lil, sitting at around 9 degrees. Forecast is for a 5 degree gradient. Satellite and webcams are showing a clearing trend. Light S.E. push this morning will cause some frontal winds for the Spit, combined with some thermal.
Expect 20 knots.

Tomorrow’s forecast has been downgraded as a 997 Low sets up in the Pacific.
